Telephone scams again

Telephone scams continue. You may receive a call from a “representative” of BT, informing you that he is disconnecting you because of an unpaid bill. The caller will even demonstrate that he can block your phone. Don’t be fooled. By simply not hanging up, any caller blocks your phone for up to 6 minutes so you will not get dial tone when you try to make a call. If you receive such a call, inform the police.
