Angel 2 Angel Bike Ride
14/11/16 13:59 Filed in:News
Back in August, 30 of my friends and family supported me on my 260mile challenge to raise money for the 3 charities who have been invaluable in the development and support of our daughter Callia who has Angelman Syndrome. The bike ride started from Yarwell near Peterborough to the Angel of the North was a huge success and many amazing moments, biking over the Humber Bridge, through the Yorkshire Moors, the very difficult hill out of Whitby and our final emotional ride altogether to the Angel of the North.
I would like to thank everyone from the riders (with their months of training), support crew and all those many kind and generous donations. The total is now in and stands at £31,253.25, which exceeded all our expectations. We have received thanks and gratitude from all 3 supported charities – ASSERT (The Angelman Charity), Small Steps and National Portage Association.
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year
