Kirton and Falkenham Village Hall – Update and Re-Opening!

We are pleased to say that the Village Hall will re-open on Tuesday 1st March, after its indoor refurbishment, including new toilet, storage and kitchen facilities, as well as some building and decorating work in the main hall. A huge thank you to the builder John O’Dowd and his staff, our local electrician David Cox, local gas and heating engineer John Brett, and the management committee, who have worked so hard to enhance the hall into the 21st century!

We hope to have a more formal re-opening in the coming months, so you can come in and have a look! we will announce this as soon as it’s arranged!

In the meantime, our AGM will be held in the Hall on Thursday 28th April at 7.30pm

All the regular groups have been invited back and will be starting again in the hall, and we are pleased to say that a new daily Pre-School, Kirton Kites, will be starting on Monday 25th April.

Enquiries about the pre-school should be directed to or 07763 816224, and watch this space and social media for ideas for community involvement in the ongoing ‘spruce up’, over several weekends in March and April.

From 1st March, the hall is very much open to book your evening and weekend social events! You can view the village hall online calendar for availability here:

Please contact me if you would like to hire the hall. The costs for 2022 are £30 for 3 hours, £5 per extra hour and £50 per day.
