Our morning walks continue as follows:-
Wednesday 2nd October 9.00 a.m. – Walk at Wilford Bridge. Meet at River Deben map ref. TM291502.
Wednesday 16th October 9.00 a.m. – Walk at Kyson Hill. Meet at Broomheath car park map ref. TM265477
Wednesday 30th October 9.00 a.m. – Walk at Harkstead Shore. Meet at map ref. TM178350
The charge for these walks is £3 per person. Please bring binoculars and bird identification books if you have them. Experts will be on hand to help with identification.
Our Evening Talk this month will be held on Tuesday 15th October 7.30 pm at Broadway House, Orwell Road, Felixstowe. Admission £2.50 per person. Chris Courtney will be giving a talk with slides on ‘Extramadura and Corfu’.
This month there will be a chance for you to see early morning Bird Migration, on Saturday 5th October at 7.30 a.m. Meet at Landguard Fort car park at 7.30 a.m. Map ref TM285319. Come and see what has been caught in the mist nets set by the Landguard Bird Observatory. Donations welcome.
