The Christmas Tree Lighting-up Ceremony had attracted around 80 parishioners and children; &pound;52 had been collected and forwarded to the Salvation Army. Thanks were recorded to Councillors Barker and Jacobs for a well decorated tree. The deaths of&nbsp; 2 former Parish Councillors, Michael Poole and George Haines were reported and noted with regret. The latter had served in recent memory and condolences were sent to Mrs Haines. <br />A lengthy discussion took place on the reported proposal for a business park off Innocence Lane, and the impact such development would have on Kirton in particular. The existing listed building is to be restored and extended.
